Edited by: Karol Kei on 22/03/2004 09:59:33 S0cks, I am not Jade, but I assume that the answer to your question depends on what you meant with the word "people". People in general, all people, people with capability, or perhaps people that are interested? Maybe something completely different, such as people referring to only yourself? Or what?
Nonetheless, you might consider the possibility that writing up a couple of sheets of quality material does not take a superhuman effort from the majority of people, luckily. Some can even do such things in several languages, unfortunately I am not really one of them, which undoubtedly shows as grammatical errors in this message.
For some the simple typing would take considerable time, and the process to come up with sensible words communicating their point might in fact require a great effort. They obviously would need the point in the first place, as well. This is fortunately often helped greatly by the fact that points needing communicating are of a widely known variety and as such nothing new or in fact of any value. Sometimes they are even expected and thus even simple four letters, such as in my example that will follow in a while may be far more wasteful than several hundreds of pages of valuable words. For example: "STFU" is short and to the point, even the thickest can easily comprehend the message. Bringing it forward requires little effort of thinking or writing, and even less capability of either. However, since such message is expected from certain people and the message itself contains nothing of value, the message is a waste.
Even in these barbaric times of short messages, underused and underappreciated spoken and written word remains as our primary way of communicating. It is only my humble personal view that it is unfortunate and sad that so many need to make such a great effort to simply read and comprehend a couple of sheets of text. However, as tragic as this is, I take comfort from my impression that people having such problems seem completely content with communicating on the level that cavemen did thousands of years ago. I am sure some of them lived happy and fulfilling lives back then, as well.
So I leave you with this message: Ugh! Roarr! *burp*
